EXOFOR and EXOWATER have developped customized Reverse Osmosis systems selecting efficient and durable materials. Designed to obtain potable water or purified water, the systems are prepared to resist the hardest working conditions (24 hours a day) and meet high water quality standards. The plants from 100m3/ day production (and up) come with an integrated energy recovery system, which decreases substantially energy consumption. Either for sea water or brackish water, EXOWATER Reverse Osmosis systems are manufactured as per customer needs.

What is reverse osmosis (ro) ?

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids such as salts are removed from water. An applied pressure is used to push the tap water through a semi permeable membrane. The membrane allows only the water to pass through. All solute is flushed down the drain. The amount of pressure required depends on the salt concentration of the feed water. The more concentrated, the more pressure is required to overcome osmotic pressure.
